Open-source licences
The drawing viewer and the 3D and IFC viewer run these libraries in your browser, unchanged apart from the import paths noted below. The fonts are used on every page. Each is offered under its own licence, and their authors keep their copyright.
PDF.js 6.4.299
Draws a drawing sharp when you zoom in past the picture the server made: a PDF from the file in your browser, a DWG or DXF from the page the server drew. By Mozilla and its contributors, under the Apache License 2.0 (the licence text as shipped). Source: github.com/mozilla/pdf.js, v6.4.299; the files served here are the legacy build, standard fonts, CMaps, image decoders and colour profile of the npm package pdfjs-dist 6.4.299, unchanged. Shipped with it:
- Foxit standard fonts (Courier, Times, Symbol and Dingbats stand-ins for fonts a PDF names but does not carry), by the PDFium Authors, under a BSD licence: licence.
- Liberation Sans (the Arial and Helvetica stand-in), by Red Hat, under the GNU GPL 2 with the font exception: licence. Source: github.com/liberationfonts/liberation-fonts.
- Adobe CMaps (Chinese, Japanese and Korean text), Copyright Adobe Systems, under a BSD licence: licence.
- OpenJPEG (JPEG 2000 images), under the BSD 2-clause licence: licence, its build for PDF.js.
- JBIG2 decoder (scanned black and white images), by the PDFium Authors, under a BSD licence: licence, its build for PDF.js (Apache License 2.0).
- qcms (colour profiles), by Mozilla, under the MIT licence: licence, its build for PDF.js.
- CGATS001Compat colour profile, dedicated to the public domain (CC0 1.0): licence.
Clipper 6.4.2
Works out where a sheet's viewports overlap, so a measurement there is not given one viewport's scale. Clipper by Angus Johnson, in JavaScript by Timo (clipper-lib), under the Boost Software License 1.0 (the licence text). Source: github.com/junmer/clipper-lib; the file served here is clipper.js of the npm package clipper-lib 6.4.2, unchanged but for two lines around it that make it an ES module. Built into it: jsbn (big integers), Copyright (c) 2003-2009 Tom Wu, under its MIT-style licence: licence.
web-ifc 0.0.78
Reads IFC models. By That Open Company and its contributors, under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (the licence text as shipped). The source code of this version is at github.com/ThatOpen/engine_web-ifc, tag 0.78; the files served here are those of the npm package web-ifc 0.0.78, unchanged.
three.js 0.186.1
Draws the models and reads the mesh formats (its loaders for glTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, FBX, Collada, 3MF, 3DS, VRML and USDZ, and OrbitControls). Source: github.com/mrdoob/three.js, r186. The loaders' import ... from 'three' is rewritten to a relative path, and the Draco decoder's worker is written to its own file instead of being built in the browser. Under the MIT licence:
